REAL LIFE MINISTRIES is online to let you know I'd be honored to serve God by serving you as a guest speaker &/or trumpet soloist for just about any kind of gathering that would honor Him. People coming to know and then grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ is what is REAL LIFE MINISTRIES is all about.

A Speaker & Trumpet Player?!

Yes, but not both at the same time :-) ...

• As a speaker I've been in many different places with many different messages for many different reasons speaking to many different people.

• As a trumpet player it's very similar - many different places, styles of music, reasons for playing and groups of people.

Speaking & Playing Experience

SPEAKING 

• 20 years of full time pastoral ministry / over 1,000 sermons
• Have spoken many times at various churches, colleges, junior & senior high schools, camps, Bible studies, conferences, focus groups & clinics
• Some of the more well known folks I've had the privilege to share the platform with include Michael Card, Steve Green, Ron Hutchcraft, Dave Roever, Josh McDowell & Steve Farrar

TRUMPET PLAYING

• Every kind of band, orchestra & instrumental music  ensemble that existed (or so it seemed!) through junior and senior high school
• Received a grant from the NEA to travel & study with Maynard Ferguson during the summer of 1977 
• Full scholarships as a trumpet performance major to Lakeland Community College & Kent State University
• Twice voted 1 of Ohio's top 5 college trumpet players as a member of the Ohio All-Star College Jazz Ensemble
• Played with some of the world's finest instrumental musicians including Phil Woods, Marvin Stamm, Allen Vizzutti, Bill Watrous, & Ed Soph
• Traveled throughout Europe during the summer of 1987 as a "musicianary" with Youth with a Mission doing music & drama street evangelism
• Opened concerts for / performed with Twila Paris, FFH, Nicole C. Mullen, David Baroni, Bryan Duncan & Scott Wesley Brown
